We had a very good time at the Father Pancake and Le Vieil is the best location of Noirmoutier.  We love the house and the decoration: it’s great !

Brilliant time!

Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful house. We had a truly brilliant time!

Everyone says it was the best holiday ever.

It was such a very special treat to be so close to the beach, with the little ones being able to come and go safely. And what a glorious beach!  Not an English voice to be heard..😊Lots of cycling, tennis, swimming and more for everyone.

All of the grandchildren were intrigued by the street theatre and insisted on staying until the end despite the late hour.. 

Everything in the house worked well.

Everyone is longing to come again.

Great weekend

A wonderful 4-day family weekend at Le Vieil in Noirmoutier in Laura's villa!
Easy, responsive and pleasant communication with the owner.
A large house, ideal for time with family or friends.
Large, very practical kitchen.
Studio separate from the house to accommodate the children away from the noise.
Bathroom and toilet for each bedroom.
Terrace for aperitifs...
Close to the beach with direct access.
Mini-market and 2 restaurants nearby...
We'd happily spend the whole summer there!!!

Beachside charm

The house itself is a haven of good mood and convivial living. Oozing beachside charm and full of character you feel immersed in Noirmoutier life the moment you enter. The unfussy and flexible accommodation (with some in the main house and some in an annexe), tasteful and fun decoration, proximity to the beach, large and beautiful living, dining and cooking areas and its being equipped with everything you might ever need make this a place you instantly feel at home in and can’t imagine ever wanting to leave!

 

The greatest joy being the ability to book it for next year the moment you leave. There’s a charm of Noirmoutier that will undoubtedly have you returning again and again.

Beautiful Warm French home

We had a lovely stay at Father Pancake. The owner was very kind and helpful. We also have a short-term rental property so I know what it entails to be available and responsive. The location was amazing and the layout great for our 2 families staying together. The kitchen was well stocked and warm. Easy access to the beach and cute restaurants and grocery right nearby. We hope to be back someday!

Large with many rooms, it’s a family house furnished with plenty of taste and simplicity.  The interior courtyards are small but well planted and very agreeable.  The house is well suited to calm adults who won’t annoy the neighbouring houses.
